So I rent the worst possible movie. I’m a guy though and I just wanted some mindless action combined with an equally mindless plot. Top of my recent list? UltraViolet.
Little did I realize however, that it actually DID have somewhat of a story. Somewhat…
The incredible BIG suprise though was my wife catching just the last bit of the movie (15 minutes or so) and then wanting me to start it over so she could watch it. Even more amazing…she actually liked it! Sort of how you liked the show Knight Rider. It was pure crap, but entertaining.
Anyway, I was in shock over the fact that she wanted to watch the whole thing. Move over Bridget Jones and pass the diary to Violet. Or is that Violent?
The movie is all action, etc. Of course you knew that. It still was fun even IF the gun kata style was a pure ripoff from a good movie Equalibrium (starring Christian Bale). Still, it was time passing entertainment.
