Jumper – people who teleport and the NSA

This sounded very cool so I had to share.

Samuel L.Jackson told Moviehole today that though the film he was supposed to do with his “Star Wars” co-star Hayden Christensen, called Poker Night, is “dead in the water”.

However, he might be re-teaming with Christensen for something else.

Jackson says Christensen might be joining him in Doug Limana’s “Jumper”, based on the Steven Gould novel of the same name. It follows a kid from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, the kid draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another youth with the same abilities. Jackson will play the NSA agent tracking the jumper, and may have ulterior motives for finding him.

Just the idea for the story sounds pretty cool. It seems similar in some way to the new series coming out in the USA called Heroes. This should be one to catch when it comes out.
