Another grand entry into the Memories catagory is The Six Million Dollar Man, which starred Lee Majors as Colonel Steve Austin. If you were around me back in the days when this show was on the air, it’s likely I ran past you in slow-motion making a “na-na-na-na-na” sound while thinking I was indestructable.

Not even the introduction of Lindsay Wagner as the Bionic Woman Jamie Sommers or Max the bionic dog would make me dislike this show. It was an icon of it’s time. Steve Austin fought various bad guys including Nazis, Bigfoot, and even the Seven Million Dollar Man (who was a nutcase I might add).

Oh, I even had the bionic action figure (NOT a doll) so that I could recreate Steve’s greatest adventures and tune his bionics at will.

Thank you Steve Austin for helping me to be more then your average kid. After I met you I was better than I was before. Better, Stronger, Faster…
