The Original Battlestar Galactica

I remember when Star Wars came out in 1977 and it was an incredible life-changing space adventure. Well, two years later there was another space adventure that came to the big screen…Battlestar Galactica.

I really liked the original and when it became a weekly television series, I was hooked. I even watched and liked crap-tastic Galactica 1980, when two Colonial Warriors show up on Earth and did good deeds each week for lame earth people. At least the new Battlestar Galactica is not a crappy remake by any stretch (thank gawd) and just for fun, here’s the original series intro.

Oh yeah, AND I met Dirk Benedict (Starbuck) once and he was the MAN! I was like 11-years old though. Cheers!
