Well, unless you’ve been under a rock then you know Daniel Craig was offered the role of James Bond, following in the footsteps of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan, certain Bond fans were really pissed off about it.
As a huge Bond fan (who’s favorite was Connery) I was thinking they just killed Bond for good. Now I can honestly say whoever made the decision was damn smart. The new Bond was AWESOME!

Now my favorites have always been Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, and Thunderball and going down from there. Goldfinger was always my very favorite though. I was 15 minutes into the new movie, Casino Royale and I was immediatly thinking this was as enjoyable as Goldfinger. Perhaps more.
Daniel Craig’s Bond is a colder than previous Bonds and quieter, yet he seems to have more depth to him. I kept thinking he was more akin to Jason Bourne (The Bourne Identity) since he was such a brawler, more active guy.
In my view, Casino Royale should not be missed by Bond fans. I enjoyed the entire movie and I haven’t seen a movie in a good while that I’ve enjoyed as much.
