It’s time for the First Contest with Flickscribe. I’ll be doing these pretty regular over the next year so even if you don’t win this time, your chances will still increase for the next. The prizes will be coming from my personal comics vault for a while, which I just looked at for the first time in over 15 years. I have a rather large collection so you never know what may spring up. It will definately be worth staying in the game.
The prize will be awarded to the Top Commentator on July 30th, 2007. I will check who has the most comments by July 30th at 12:00pm PST and announce the winner who will be picked randomly from the Top 5 commentators.
Even though the top commentators are shown at the bottom of each page, I do reserve the right to disqualify small useless comments or obvious comment spamming for this contest.
THE WINNING PRIZE – Marvel Comics Transformers #1 (1984)

The Transformers was originally scheduled to run 4 issues and ended up running 80 issues instead. Done by Bill Mantlo, Ralph Macchio, Frank Springer, and the cover by the legendary Bill Sienkiewicz. I figured this might be nice considering the movie is coming out.
I might even add in G.I. Joe and the Transformers #1 & #2 (Marvel 1987). I’ll decide by July 15th depending on how things go. The more commentators there are, the more I’ll sweeten the pot.

I look forward to your insightful comments and remember, spamming won’t be tolerated here. Good luck to you all.
Disclaimer: None of these comics have been professionally graded, but all have been well kept and are in excellent condition.

After what seems to be a lame start, looks like you’ll end up getting a comic book Umbrax. Sheesh!
