Eric Bana joins Star Trek Cast

Eric Bana is now signed on to play the villian in J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. Maybe he wasn’t the best Bruce Banner, but he was great in Black Hawk Down and Munich.

Eric Bana has signed on to play “Star Trek” villain Nero in Paramount Pictures’ bigscreen adaptation of the sci-fi series. Plot details and even character descriptions of the J.J. Abrams-helmed project are being kept under wraps.

I like Eric Bana so this is a welcome addition to the cast. It also will give the movie a little big name pull to fill some seats (like Star Trek isn’t a big enough name.)
