Smallville: Why we like Oliver Queen

The owner of Queen Industries is just a cover for Oliver Queen (played by Justin Hartley) who’s real passion is prowling the streets as Green Arrow, dispensing justice similar to Robin Hood.

We like Oliver or Green Arrow because his appearance help accelerate Clark down his path to be a hero and gave us some great action using his specialty arrows and gear. Being the first one to wear a hero costume on Smallville was a nice touch too. Oliver created a mini-Justice League (but they never used that name) with the following members:

• Green Arrow (Oliver Queen)
• Aquaman (Arthur Curry)
• Impulse (Bart Allen)
• Cyborg (Victor Stone)
• Boy Scout (Clark Kent)
• Watchtower (Chloe Sullivan)

“Yeah, well, don’t worry about it Clark. You know. I mean, if I lived under the same roof as such a beautiful woman, I would’ve masked my feelings in sarcasm, too.” – Oliver Queen

The super group went on to destroy a bunch of Lex Luthor’s 33.1 lab facilities around the world and Oliver still uses his money and resources to aid Clark and friends whenever he can. I suppose some of the ladies might want me to add that he’s also a dashing hot rogue too.
