Actually, over the years Clark Kent has changed in ways your brain apparently cannot comprehend. He has developed thoroughly in a numerous amount of ways. However, you feel the need to publish an immature opinion instead of plainly stop watching the show. In fact, i think the truth is that you are angry at yourself because watching Smallville, you see guys beyond your reach. This forces you to feel depressed and you decided to take it out on the show. I strongly and thoroughly advise for you to rethink your unauthorized opinion.

Ok people, let view the facts…
1) Superboy showed that he could fly when he was in diapers.
2) It was Martha Kent that made his costume from the material that Kal-el was wrapped in.
3) Clark was incouraged to wear the glasses to cover his idenity when he was in high school.
4) The show hinted at the fact that Green Arrow started the Teen Titans, when in fact it was Robin who started it.
5) So far they have show the following heros:
a) Cyborge (Teen Titan)
b) Kid Flash(Teen Titan)
c) Black Canary (Justice League of America)
d) Maxima entered the picture after Superboy became Superman.
e) Doomsday was created in a lab on the planet Krypton and he was not the son of Zod! He later arrived on Earth to battle Superman not Superboy!
f) Green Arrow was a member of the Justic League of America.
g) The Leagen of Super Heros did contact Clark, and they were right to wonder why he wasn’t flying yet.
As far as I’m concern, this is and ElseWorld rendition, because everything is so wrong.
h) Lois never married Lex, she married Peter Ross and had a kid and named him Clark!
i) Aquaman was a member of the Justice League
They need to get it right or leave it alone.

T.V.has destorted the story of Kal-El

First of all when the rocket came to earth with Kal-El, the Kents were well in their 70’s and Martha never had an interest in Linnel Luthor.
Yes Lana Lang was a love interest of Clark’s but Lana never married Lex Luthor, she married Peter Ross and had a son from him, whom she named Clark.
While growing up in Smallvile, Kal-El could fly, it was then that Martha, using the material that Kal-El was wrapped in, to make the first version of the costume that he wears now.
The T.V.show introduced the following:
1) Green Arrow- who is a member of the Justice League of America
2) Cyborg- who is a member of The Teen Titans
3) Kid Flash- who is a member of The Teen Titans ( original formation)
4) Aquaman-who is a member of Justice League of America

Now on the T.V.show they are suppose to be teenagers, but if that is the case, there lies another error, this looks a lot like the Teen Titans, but that group was started by Robin (Dick Grayson)

Chloe Sullivan and Jimmy Olsen, well by now if we are at the Daily Planet, Jimmy should be Superman’s bestfriend and Lois Lane should be a full staff reporter and so should Clark Kent. They have only shown a young lady by the name of “Cat” and she is in another part of media im Metro
polis.

Ok now let’s talk about Kara-El. The DC original story has her as one of many survivers in the bottled city of Kandor. Which is in the Fortress of Solitude. Another incarnation is she was the soul surviver of a parralle universand was brought back and introduced as Clarks cousin. This version had different powers than the original and she merged with a human to save her life and there by gaining a secret idenity. Not the T.V. version where Kara was sent from Krypton in a rocket.

Also the Martian Manhunter is a menber of the justice League of America.

John, to your “going mad” theory, I call “hogwash.” If I remember right, that was Jimmy’s comment on meteor freaks and Jimmy’s new to the scene. Chloe knows that isn’t it true about all meteor freaks, or at least I hope she doesn’t think that, we’ve seen meteor freaks in the past that weren’t crazy, remember Adam (the boy that could read minds)? Remember the Avenger chick, the Batman wanna be that worked at the Daily Planet for a brief time (she wanted to avenge her mom’s death, she did get a little dramatic, but everyone on the show gets a little nutty). But I could be wrong, the show is becoming less and less interesting as time goes on (so I probably missed something). If you think about it, 8 years is a long time, and Clark hasn’t really gone anywhere. He seems to have dropped out of college also.

For your MH’s first question, I believe the answer really is that Chloe knows that all meteor freak tend go crazy and she is really worried about that happening to her. That’s why she wants to have the problem removed.
