Jason Statham is always great and this trailer for Revolver from screenwriter/director Guy Richie looks pretty good. It also doesn’t hurt that Luc Besson (La Femme Nikita, The Professional, The Fifth Element, The Transporter) is one of the producers. The story follows Jake Green (Statham) who’s a con man that just got out after a seven-year sentence. His first order of business is got get even with Dorothy Macha (Ray Liotta) for putting him behind bars. After getting humiliated, Macha sends hit men to kill Jake. Extreme ugliness follows.
