The top couple movie picks this week: American Gangster is about Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) who establishes himself as the number one heroin Kingpin in the Harlem by importing from Asia in a unique method. Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) is the dedicated cop who heads up a joint narcotics task force trying to bring the criminal down. Michael Clayton is a “fixer” at one of the largest corporate law firms in New York. He cleans up the dirtiest messes and eventually has to face the biggest challenge of his career and his life.
I also believe that Rendition with Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Meryl Streep is an excellent pick. I also kind of want to check out Chaos with Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes and Ryan Phillippe.
