Universal has signed a new deal with the toy company Hasbro to make four films over the next six years based on some of their properties. The movies could include some of “world’s best-known and beloved brands, including ‘Monopoly,’ ‘Clue,’ ‘Ouija,’ ‘Battleship,’ ‘Magic, the Gathering’ and ‘Stretch Armstrong.’”
I thought they already made a Clue movie. Monopoly? A movie about buying up all the property you can and charging them rent whenever they happen to stop by? I’ve got a movie idea for you Universal. How about Big Wheel the Movie?
It’s about a kid that wants to get into the underground culture of tricycle racing and his father gives him his legendary Big Wheel that made him a big name in the 60’s. Will Farrell plays the dad, because anything Will does is comedy gold. Even though the Big Wheel is not as shiny, full of bling or made from ultra-light alloys…it still kicks butt thanks to it’s giant wheel, one-to-one pedal system, and the super awesome e-brake.
Sure it’s not Transformers or G.I. Joe, but we loved it just as much.
