Tobey Maguire has signed on for Afterburn, which is an adaptation from a comic book. It’s a sci-fi adventure set in post-apocalyptic future (which are always great). There’s mutants (not the good kind) from decades of radiation and fallout. The center of the story is about a group of treasure hunters who travel the globe salvaging treasures like the Mona Lisa, the Rosetta Stone and the Crown Jewels.
Of course they battle the usual rivals, mutants and other nasty things the whole time. I like the sound of it.
