Iron Man Secret Ending

The movie Iron Man dominated the box office this weekend (no surprise) and if you stayed after the credits, there was a secret treat.  It’s one of the greatest teases in a comic book movie even. Don’t take my word for it, but see for yourself.

Update 05-23-08: Paramount has asked that all videos showing the secret ending be removed.  That’s too bad!  Unfortunately, this link no longer works.  But in case you’re really interested, here is the lowdown:

Downey Jr walks into the room and is confronted by a man in shadows who says that Iron Man isn’t the only super hero in town.  In fact, he has a team of superheros called…. The Avengers.  Downey Jr. says “Who the hell are you?” and the Shadow steps forward….  Why it’s Nick Fury!  Actually, it’s Samuel S. Jackson.  Taa daaa!  Everyone in the audience who has stayed cheers wildly, and several nerds high five each other or just quietly cry tears of happiness.  That’s the clip in a nutshell.
