DVD Releases for Tuesday June 10th 2008

There’s some pretty good stuff out this week, and even though I’m biased in the action/sci-fi genre, I’m still recommending Jumper as my favorite pick. In fact, I plan on buying this one for my collection because I really liked the movie.

Some of the other good ones for the week are The Bucket List, the very dark movie Funny Games with the always excellent Tim Roth, The Grand with a huge cast list of Woody Harrelson, Cheryl Hines, David Cross, Dennis Farina, Chris Parnell, Werner Herzog, Shannon Elizabeth, and Mike Epps, The Other Boleyn Girl with Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Eric Bana, and Witless Protection.

I can’t honestly ever recommend a Larry the Cable Guy movie, but some people out there like him. If I watch it ever, then it will only be to see Jenny McCarthy. Rowr!
