The LA Times is saying that the recent Star Wars: Force Unleashed video game may be made into a movie.
The article quotes Haden Blackman, the project leader on the game.
“Oh, that would be incredible,” said Blackman. “And it’s not impossible. Never say never. George [Lucas] has looked to tell new ‘Star Wars’ stories through the games and with the entire Star Wars Expanded Universe, and then he has also shown a willingness to let the characters come into the films. Look at Aayla Secura, a creation in the [Dark Horse] comic books who became part of the theatrical films.”

Apparently, Sam Witwer of Smallville fame did the voice for Darth Vader’s apprentice. He is playing Doomsday in Smallville. Doomsday will eventually kill Superman in the comics, of course.
Here is his info on imdb.
My fellow scribe John did a review of the game’s demo over at geekscribe.com, our sister site. Check it out here: Force Unleashed Demo Review
John really liked the game’s demo. However, most of the reviews for the full game have been decidedly mixed.

It would be awesome to have a Star Wars: TFU Movie. Also, the team that developed and created TFU saiyed that this multimedia project should be called Star Wars 07 or Star Wars Episode VII. Anyway, this movie, if is going to be one, will be the perfect mix between The Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope.
