The Big Bang Theory is Nerd Cool

If you haven’t seen The Big Bang Theory yet, you should. It’s pretty nerdy humor and yet anyone can enjoy it easily enough without having to know the specifics of string theory. Of course if you actually know string theory then the should is hilarious. One of my favorite moments is when the not-so nerdy neighbor Penny is going through Leonard’s closet with him and in addition to his replica bottle city of Kandor (Superman joke) she pulls out a hanger of clothes and says “nice Battlestar Galactica costume”. Leonard replies “that’s not a costume, it’s a flight suit.” Priceless. Yeah, so I’m a nerd.
