Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the third film in the overall story and although Kate Beckinsale is gone, Rhona Mitra is a great replacement. This prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between Vampires and Lycans. A Lycan named Lucian (Michael Sheen) rallies the werewolves to rebel against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the vampire King who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his vampire lover, Sonja (Rhona Mitra), in his fight for Lycan freedom.
