Just today it’s been announced that Michael Douglas will reprise his role as greedy corporate raider Gordon Gekko in Wall Street 2. For those of you that haven seen Wall Street (directed by Oliver Stone) then you need to rent it and catch up.

The sequel will follow Douglas’ character Gekko, who was a symbol of Wall Street corruption during the financial boom era of the 1980s.

“It starts up a couple years ago. Gordon Gekko has just got out of jail, and we kind of deal with all the issues that are going on now,” said Douglas, who won a Best Actor Oscar for his role more than 20 years ago. “It’s an excellent script. I’m really excited about it.”

Now that’s going to be something cool. Gekko is pretty epic.
