Dane Cook is speaking out on his MySpace page about the goofy poster for My Best Friend’s Girl. Sure he’s just trying to drum up press in his own special way and promote the movie, but I do like a few of the comments.

1. Graphics:
Whoever photoshopped our poster must have done so at taser point with
3 minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations. They should have called Donnie Hoyle and had him give a tutorial using “You Suck at Photoshop” templates. This is so glossy it makes Entertainment Weekly look wooden.

2. My head:
The left side of my face seems to be melting off of my skull. I guess I am looking directly into the Ark of the Covenant? Are they going for the bells palsy thing here? My left side looks like Brittany Spears’ vagina.

3. The Stare.
My character apparently has fallen in love with a strand of Kate Hudsons hair. Kate’s mannequin is desperately in love with the inside of my right ear while Jason is half stunned, half corsage.

4. Lips:
It looks like I’m wearing Maybelline Water Shine Diamonds Liquid Lipstick. My characters name is now Winter Solstice and I’m a hooker with a heart of gold. Jason is my floral carrying pimp, while Kate is my first trick!

5. Fashion:
My character is sporting a very high collar I mean damn they should be snow capped at that altitude. It’s going for the vampire lurking in the castle basement vibe. An Olympic pole vaulter would have a tough go clearing that collar. I’m also able to turn my head comfortably 180 degrees, because I was raised in an abandoned barn by a family of owls.

Yeah, there’s more. You get the idea though. The photoshop work on some of these movie posters is terrible.

Here’s the just-released trailer for Sophie Maes’ Mother Teresa biopic Teresa: The Making of a Saint. In case you’re as confused as I am, Sophie Maes is the character in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People who’s played by Megan Fox. This is some type of fake movie trailer within a movie advertising for the first movie.Possibly the only thing you’ve understood this whole paragraph is Megan Fox. No worries. I’m still confused too. Have a look.

Who’d have thought that golden surfer dude Matthew McConaughey would star in a movie called Surfer Dude? I’m not sure of the entire plot, but it appears that it’s about a dude…who surfs. That’s just a guess really…

It looks like yet another Jim Carrey comedy movie and not surprisingly, it looks darn good. Yes Man going to be out in December 2008. Have a look!

We all have heard many, many times from grown-up type people that drugs are bad. In the new movie Pineapple Express, I believe they never heard such a thing because very large amounts of weed get consumed. I believe James Franco’s character (above) is stoned the whole movie.

Seth Rogen plays a guy who witnesses a murder and then goes on the run from the killers with his dope dealer buddy James Franco. Sounds killer…dude.

Disaster Movie has it’s trailer out today and it’s exactly the goofy type of comedy you’d expect. I won’t even spoil the whole experience with words. I’ll just let the trailer spoil itself for you.

The Green Hornet now has an official web site and it’s now got a new logo. How exciting that we get to see a really cool classic hero transformed into Seth Rogan. How awesome. Yeah…I’m kidding.

The movie Diminished Capacity is about a journalist (Matthew Broderick) who suffers from a memory loss and leaves his job to head back to his small hometown. While he’s there he re-connects with his uncle who suffers from Alzheimer’s (Alan Alda) and his old girlfriend (Virginia Madsen). The three of them then set out to head to the city and sell a rare baseball card and outwit some local thugs that want to steal it.

I’m not sure if any of that really excites me, but who knows…the trailer might be decent.

It turns out all the rumors were true and Sacha Baron Cohen has indeed filmed a Bruno movie. The movie will be hitting theatres next year May 15, 2009 and is called Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male. I’m sure just like Borat was everywhere, Bruno will also be turning up in various places during the media penetration that will most certainly take place. Oh, did I say penetration? Sorry about that?

I’ve seen another poster for Disaster Movie that was a parody of The Simpsons Movie poster and I really wasn’t that into it. This one however, completely hit home. Get it? Hit home. Anyway, I suppose this is going to be a bit of a chuckle to see this movie. I didn’t even think they were making movies like this still, but what do I know?
