This international poster for the horror movie Mirrors pretty much reminds me why I hate freaky movies like this.

Actress Tara Reid is in the midst of an internet war of petitions regarding a new Nightmare on Elm Street movie. First there was a petition for her to star in the movie that currently has 1300+ signatures.

We feel young hollywood actress Tara Reid deserves a role in the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street. She is a very talented and intelligent actor, we feel a a major role, in a major film will help revive her acting career. We feel she would be a truly great addition to the cast. Please truly consider her for a part, and check out how many people would love to see her in you’re film.

Now there’s another one that’s been made to try and make sure she’s not in the film.

We feel young hollywood actress Tara Reid DOES NOT deserves a role in the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. After starring in ALONE IN THE DARK back in 2005, we feel that her career has gone south and her presence would not only hurt the quality, but the success of the film - which would hurt the horror genre in the long run. Check out how many people agree with me that she should NOT star in the film, or eve make a cameo…

Quarantine looks pretty freaky. A television reporter is supposed to spend the night covering the LA Fire Department and follows a crew on a call to an apartment. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown and the CDC ends off locking up the whole building. Now they’re trapped inside with something and have no way to get out.

It’s been announced that Universal and director Gore Verbinski are going to make a movie based on the hugely popular Xbox 360, Bioshock. It was a mega-hit seller last year and it won awards left and right for it’s story and depth.

“Bioshock” takes place in an underwater city based on the free market principles of Ayn Rand, but things have gone disastrously wrong. Players control a pilot who crash-lands at a secret entrance to the city, called Rapture, and is drawn into a power struggle during which he discovers that his will is not as free as he’d thought.

“I think the whole utopia-gone-wrong story that’s cleverly unveiled to players is just brimming with cinematic potential,” said Verbinski. “Of all the games I’ve played, this is one that I felt has a really strong narrative.”

So take that Kevin! Your favorite game is going to be made into a movie only let’s hope it doesn’t blow up your DVD player like the game did to your first Xbox 360.

The Mummy 3 or The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is coming and Jet Li is going to play one ass-kicking mummy. The teaser poster is kind of bland, but I’m sure we’ll see more coming soon.

Jenna Jameson’s Zombie Strippers is actually going to be in theatres in some select cities on April 18th. It’s about a bunch of strippers who are zombies in case you were confused by the misleading title. Have a look.

Cliver Barker’s Book of Blood is a favorite book of a friend of mine and I’m pretty sure he’ll be quite excited about this movie. The poster for After Life looks totally creepy and yet it stars Kate Bosworth. I’m definitely having a conflict over that.

This movie Prom Night starts out like a nice remincient sort of flick and then quickly denigrates into the most overused horror motif of all time. You’re locked safely in your house (or hotel) and secretly there’s a psycho killer locking in there with you. The old “is anybody there?” investigation happens in a little clothing as possible. This movie looks like a complete bore.

Hot damn I liked the beginning of this movie! Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem looks so much better then the first one and could completely turn the concept of the AVP series around. This video trailer is just over 5 minutes long showing what I believe is the complete beginning sequence of the movie. Definitely have a look!
