The poster for He’s Just Not That Into You is actually pretty plain, but the candy heart is kind of cute. If you like cute that is.

Here’s two new posters for Max Payne, which is and adaptation of the popular video game of the same name. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg as DEA Agent Max Payne, a man seeking vengeance for the murder of his family. It also stars Mila Kunis as an assassin out to avenge her sister’s death, so she teams up with Max and the two get hunted by police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation. Sounds like fun.

Oh yes, proof that there is a God of Action movies. There will be a Transporter 3 starring the best action star of the moment Jason Statham. Amen.

I was really mixed on Babylon A.D. and then I’ve seen the recent round of television trailers and it looks pretty good. I’m probably one of those rare few that actually like Vin Diesel most of the time though. The poster reminds me of a Blade Runner and Unbreakable cross-over for some reason.

Dane Cook is speaking out on his MySpace page about the goofy poster for My Best Friend’s Girl. Sure he’s just trying to drum up press in his own special way and promote the movie, but I do like a few of the comments.

1. Graphics:
Whoever photoshopped our poster must have done so at taser point with
3 minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations. They should have called Donnie Hoyle and had him give a tutorial using “You Suck at Photoshop” templates. This is so glossy it makes Entertainment Weekly look wooden.

2. My head:
The left side of my face seems to be melting off of my skull. I guess I am looking directly into the Ark of the Covenant? Are they going for the bells palsy thing here? My left side looks like Brittany Spears’ vagina.

3. The Stare.
My character apparently has fallen in love with a strand of Kate Hudsons hair. Kate’s mannequin is desperately in love with the inside of my right ear while Jason is half stunned, half corsage.

4. Lips:
It looks like I’m wearing Maybelline Water Shine Diamonds Liquid Lipstick. My characters name is now Winter Solstice and I’m a hooker with a heart of gold. Jason is my floral carrying pimp, while Kate is my first trick!

5. Fashion:
My character is sporting a very high collar I mean damn they should be snow capped at that altitude. It’s going for the vampire lurking in the castle basement vibe. An Olympic pole vaulter would have a tough go clearing that collar. I’m also able to turn my head comfortably 180 degrees, because I was raised in an abandoned barn by a family of owls.

Yeah, there’s more. You get the idea though. The photoshop work on some of these movie posters is terrible.

This international poster for the horror movie Mirrors pretty much reminds me why I hate freaky movies like this.

Oliver Stone’s W is getting all ramped up for the fall. I bet this movie will be a big help for Obama.

Tale of Despereaux is yet another animated movie coming out starring a mouse. The poster looks cool and who am I kidding? I’ll probably see it. I’m a sucker for cute mice movies.
