According to many sources, Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother have been found murdered.  They were shot to death.  From MSN:

“Deputy Chief Joseph Patterson said a family member entered the home around 3 p.m. Friday, found a woman shot on the living room floor and left to notify authorities. Responding officers found a man shot in the bedroom, Patterson said. There was no sign of forced entry.”

Additionally, there is an Amber Alert in effect for her nephew, 7-year-old Julian King:

“The alert said the child was possibly abducted, and accompanied by a man — considered armed and dangerous — who was a suspect in the double homicide investigation. Records with the Illinois Department of Corrections show the man, who has not been charged with a crime, is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

The two could also be in a teal or green Chrysler Concord with a temporary license plate, a left front headlight hanging out and scratches on the left side of the vehicle, police said.”

Of course, our hearts and prayers go out to Ms. Hudson and her family in this terrible time.

There is word now that Travis Barker, formerly Blink-182 and current +44 drummer is expected to live.  He was burned mostly from the waist down according to reports such as this one.

There is also word that DJ AM’s face was severely burned, and that he had burns over 50% of his body.  He is currently being kept in an incubator to prevent infection.  Both are still in critical but stable condition.  Source

This is terrible news:  Travis Barker, formerly the drummer of Blink 182 and currently the drummer of +44 is in critical condition after being burned in a Lear Jet crash.  Four people were killed in the crash including both pilots and two passengers.  Another passenger, a popular DJ by the name of Adam Goldstein was also burned and is in critical condition.  This occurred in Augusta, GA.

“Officials said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames, said Debbie Hersman, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board.”

OK, I realize this is a bit morbid.  Actually it is extremely morbid.  But here you go:

There have been some crazy celebrity deaths.  For example (from the site filmschoolrejects.com):

Blonde, blue-eyed Gwili Andre from Denmark, “the highest priced model in America,” was taken on as a “Garbo look-alike” by RKO Studio, earning $25,000 a year and dating Howard Hughes. To her dismay, she failed to become a movie star. In a bizarre suicide, she was found sprawled on the bedroom floor of her apartment, burned to a crisp in a funeral pyre she had made out of old publicity clippings.

Or how about:

Character actor Albert (Dr. Cyclops, The Wild Bunch ) Dekker, a fan of autoeroticism, was found hanging from a shower curtain rod wearing delicate ladies’ silk lingerie. He had dirty hypodermic needles stuck in each arm, a hangman’s noose around his neck, a scarf over his eyes, and a rubber-ball bit in his mouth, its metal chains tied firmly behind his head. The corpse was trussed in leather belts fastened around his body like a halter, the end of one clutched in his hand. Each wrist was handcuffed separately. Among other equally weird sentiments scrawled in flaming red lipstick all over his body was “make me suck.”
