iTunes has a bunch of free TV shows available right now.  To get there:

1) Click on TV Shows in the iTunes menu

2) Scroll all the way down to the bottom.  You should see a box in the middle that says “Free on iTunes”

3) Click on “Show All”

You’ll get six pages(!!!) of free content to choose from.  Some of it is bogus stuff but there are a lot of great shows: only one episode is available for most.  I found Eureka, Psych, Knight Rider, 30 Rock, Monk, Heroes, The Suite Life, etc.  Plus there are pilot episodes of new shows.  Talk about a plethora of great content!  I am not sure how long this stuff will be available, so if I were you I’d hurry over there right now.

The shows are available in HD and Standard Definition.  If  you download the HD Version, iTunes will also download the SD version.

Tip:  If you use the cart feature you might not be able to download.  For some reason, it says they are unavailable when they go in the cart.  I would change iTunes to the One Click shopping for these free “purchases.”  I did that and it worked fine.

NBC has some cool auctions happening where you can bid on some of the props used on the shows Heroes, 30 Rock, The Office, Friday Night Lights, and Las Vegas.

This powerful painting of superhero Claire Bennet suggests the familiar catchphrase: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.

The auctions will end on December 3rd 2007 so definately check them out. I’d love to have a painting from Heroes. That would be so cool.
