This week my top picks have to be the four movies shown above. That being said, the last two movies I’ll probably only see when I’m really bored. I do like some of the actors in them like Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff in White Noise 2.

The top pick is definitely 3:10 to Yuma because it’s supposed to be fantastic and has Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon looks decent too. If anyone has seen them, feel free to post something. I’d really like to know.

I’m a big western movie fan and while ol’ Clint Eastwood hasn’t been on the scene in a while, at least I had the darn good Open Range to enjoy (one of the best westerns of all time). Now it time for 3:10 from Yuma, which is a remake of the 1957 film of the same name that starred Glenn Ford and Van Heflin.

This however looks damn good. It’s stars Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Check out the trailer. You won’t be sorry partner.

In Arizona in the late 1800’s, infamous outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) and his vicious gang of thieves and murderers have plagued the Southern Railroad. When Wade is captured, Civil War veteran Dan Evans (Christian Bale), struggling to survive on his drought-plagued ranch, volunteers to deliver him alive to the “3:10 to Yuma”, a train that will take the killer to trial. On the trail, Evans and Wade, each from very different worlds, begin to earn each other’s respect. But with Wade’s outfit on their trail – and dangers at every turn – the mission soon becomes a violent, impossible journey toward each man’s destiny.
