Here’s the just-released trailer for Sophie Maes’ Mother Teresa biopic Teresa: The Making of a Saint. In case you’re as confused as I am, Sophie Maes is the character in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People who’s played by Megan Fox. This is some type of fake movie trailer within a movie advertising for the first movie.Possibly the only thing you’ve understood this whole paragraph is Megan Fox. No worries. I’m still confused too. So as of this moment, Cowboys & Aliens is a movie that’s been in development for over 10-years will now be produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. The other big news is that Robert Downey Jr. is in negotiations to play the starring tole. The DreamWorks/Universal movie is looking to be out by 2010 and that could really screw up the whole Iron Man 2 plans.

“Cowboys & Aliens” derives from a graphic novel written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley from an original idea by Rosenberg. The story centers on an Old West battle between the Apache and Western settlers, including a former Union Army gunslinger named Zeke Jackson (Downey), that is interrupted by a spaceship crashing into the prairie near Silver City, Ariz.

The story draws a parallel between the American imperialist drive to conquer the “savage” Indians with its advanced technology and the aliens’ assault on Earthlings, who must join together to survive the invaders’ attack.

It really sounds like a wild west version of Roswell and honestly I think it could be fantastic.

Dreamworks and Paramount are putting together a a 3D animated adventure comedy called Monsters vs Aliens. It’s about a girl who gets hit by a meteor and becomes almost 50-feet tall. She’s then known as a “monster” named Ginormica by the military and captured to a secret government base. Turns out the government also has captured other monsters like Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D., part fish and ape The Missing Link, B.O.B. the blob, and a giant grub named Insectosaurus.

When a mysterious alien robot comes to Earth and begins attacking, they’re called into action.

The cast sounds really great too. Reese Witherspoon as Susan Murphy, a.k.a. Ginormica, Hugh Laurie as Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D., Will Arnett  as The Missing Link, Seth Rogen as B.O.B., Rainn Wilson as Gallaxhar, Stephen Colbert as The President of the United States, Kiefer Sutherland as General W.R. Monger, and Paul Rudd as Susan’s boyfriend, Derek.

I really like Simon Pegg so I imagine that I’ll see this new movie How To Lose Friends And Alienate People at some point. I know it’s a chick flick of some type, but hopefully he can offset some of the pain involved in watching it.

Hot damn I liked the beginning of this movie! Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem looks so much better then the first one and could completely turn the concept of the AVP series around. This video trailer is just over 5 minutes long showing what I believe is the complete beginning sequence of the movie. Definitely have a look!
