Today we get treated to a couple new G.I. Joe banner posters featuring Snake-Eyes and the Baroness. Of course this is just what’s called the teaser stuff because eventually we’ll have the media machine going full speed. There will probably be toys at the local fast food places in a few months.

Cinema EXPO in Amsterdam had a billboard that’s making the rounds showing off G.I. Joe’s team leader Duke and the title G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. Of course that’s probably a good plan to title a movie this way because then when it does really well, we don’t have to have G.I. Joe 2. We can actually have a title that more meaningful. Go Joe!

This is the other G.I. Joe character that I’ve been dying to see from the new movie. It’s Storm Shadow who is is best known for his history with fellow ninja Snake-Eyes. His costume seems to follow that of the G.I. Joe Reloaded series if I remember right. Still…he looks awesome.

Yes, it’s more of the super hot Scarlett from the G.I. Joe movie. She’s even got fully moulded chest armor! How cool is that? On a serious note, I’m still not digging the all black armor theme this movie seems to be going with. It kind of steals from Snake-Eyes in my view, but we’ll see how it all pans out.

Here’s team leader Duke from the G.I. Joe movie and as you can see by looking at these and the other promo pics I’ve posted, they’ve definitly gone in favor of this black light armor style of outfit over the traditional uniforms from the comics. For some reason I just don’t find him “Duke” enough, if you know what I’m saying.
