Well, it’s official one day after Umbrax just cast Sam as Nick Fury in an Avengers movie. Samuel L. Jackson is supposedly filming his role as Nick Fury in the new movie Iron Man today.

Nick Fury is the cigar-smoking, hard-ass, special agent in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D, a global intellegence/spy group that has it’s base of operations in the Helicarrier, a flying aircraft carrier. Having Sam jackson in the role is certainly a plus. There was a crappy older television movie about Nick Fury starring David Hasselhoff and it sucked. I think this time around the character is going to be much better.

Kevin Feige who’s an Executive at Marvel Studios under CEO Avi Arad was interviewed by SuperHeroHype on the set of Iron Man recently. He spoke about all the different Marvel movies in the works. Read on for the breakdown.

Iron Man is the next movie to be coming out followed by The Incredible Hulk. Talking about the Hulk movie, Keven said:

“The Hulk movie will be different from the first one ’cause this one will be good,” said Feige. “There are certain elements of the first film that I’m proud of, there are other elements that I’m not. In looking to reboot and start the franchise fresh and new, we wanted to start with a clean slate.”

Regarding a Captain America movie:

“We’ll have to play with Captain America as being a patriotic propoganda machine on one hand but also being a very human Steve Rogers interesting fascinating hero in his own right.” Is the script they’re developing a period piece? “Right now what we’re developing would be about half and half.”
