Erica Durance is probably the hottest Lois Lane ever, with Teri Hatcher from Lois & Clark a close second. Since I’m still very much into the show Smallville, I figured a quick moment with this gorgeous reporter wouldn’t hurt. Enjoy!

Table of Contents for the Smallville Characters Series

Kara Kent (played by Laura Vandervoort) is Clark Kent’s Kryptonian cousin who also escaped their home planet and made it to Earth. One reason we like Kara because she’s extremely hot and has no real modesty with the clothes she wears. She really wants to learn how to blend in on Earth, but would rather do things her own way than follow other people’s advice. Kara has embraced American popular culture, but doesn’t always understand human customs.
“It sounds like we got ourselves a true-blue Supergirl.” - Chloe Sullivan
Kara is also very assertive, totally outspoken, and completely stubborn. She approaches things a bit more head on then Clark does and is quick to action, but she’s also very willing to help people who are in trouble. Did I mention that she’s hot?

Table of Contents for the Smallville Characters Series
Lionel Luthor (played by John Glover) is the scheming father of Lex Luthor and the founder of LuthorCorp. He has many connections and resources with the government and the criminal underworld which he uses to his best advantage.

“Clark, the real test of a hero is knowing when the greater good will be served by an evil act. To save the Earth, the cost of one life is the price that must be paid.” - Lionel Luthor
We like Lionel or rather we like to hate him. Sometimes he’s working against Clark Kent and yet other times he seems to helping work toward the greater good. At this point he knows of Clark’s powers but he’s held that information in full confidence even when under physical duress.
“I know, I know. The methods I have to use seem cruel, heartless but the truth is I am using them to protect you. ” - Lionel Luthor
At this point Lionel is a great character with ever changing motives. We like him, we hate him, and finally…we like him again.

Table of Contents for the Smallville Characters Series
Clark Kent’s adoptive father Jonathan Kent (played by John Schneider) was the father we all liked. He stuck to his morals, but was completely supportive of all his son’s endeavors. When he died it was a very sad day on the Kent farm.

“Look, Clark, I’m your father. I’m supposed to have all the answers. It kills me that I don’t, but you gotta have faith that we’ll figure this thing out together.” – Jonathan Kent
We knew he would die one day but we believed it would be much later in his life and possibly even something we wouldn’t see during the series. He was the Man of Steel’s true mentor and the one responsible for giving him his solid moral compass. We’ll miss Jonathan Kent, but we’ll never forget the strength of character he had. Without him there would be no Superman.
“As much as I loved my father, I… a part of me still resents him for needing me that much. I don’t want you to feel that. That’s not the kind of father I… I ever wanted to be.” – Jonathan Kent
