This poster for the upcoming superhero movie Hancock seems to show a seriously down-on-his-luck hero who’s played by Will Smith. Still though, it’s a movie with some awesome special effects (according to the trailer) and one that I’m looking forward to seeing. Besides…it’s Will Smith. How could you not want to see this movie?

As much as I didn’t think I would like Hancock starring Will Smith, this trailer was pretty fun. I like the whole concept of the down-on-his-luck superhero and watching the crazy mishaps he gets into on the path to redemption. The shot where he tosses the whale into the ocean is very cool. Will Smith is kicking ass and taking names at the box office with I Am Legend. The former Fresh Prince is now the King because people are now saying that he’s the biggest movie star in world.

The Francis Lawrence-directed movie blitzed the box office with an estimated $76.5 million opening salvo, beating the four-year record held by The Return Of The King (which, of course, had built-in franchise appeal) and posting a hugely impressive per-screen average of $21,000

Will Smith is about to be facing off against Vampires in his latest movie I Am Legend and this trailer looks better then the previous one.

Warner Bros says:
